Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using the Boostrix Chrome Extension ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please uninstall the extension and discontinue use immediately.

These Terms apply to all users of Boostrix, including Free and Pro plan subscribers.

2. Description of Service

Boostrix is a Chrome Extension that provides productivity tools for AI chat platforms. Specifically, Boostrix allows you to:

  • Navigate long AI conversations using floating scroll buttons.
  • Pin and save important AI-generated messages to local or cloud storage.
  • Organize saved messages into folders.
  • Search, filter, copy, and export your saved content.

Boostrix operates as a workflow management tool on top of third-party AI platforms including ChatGPT (OpenAI), Claude (Anthropic), and Gemini (Google). Boostrix is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to any of these platforms.

3. User Accounts

The Free plan does not require an account. For Pro features (Cloud Sync, unlimited pins), you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. User Content & Responsibility

Boostrix saves content that you choose to pin from your AI conversations. You retain full ownership of all content you save through Boostrix. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your pinned content.

You are solely responsible for:

  • The content you generate through AI platforms and choose to save via Boostrix.
  • Ensuring your saved content complies with the terms of service of the respective AI platform (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini).
  • Not using Boostrix to save, distribute, or organize any content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, or violates the rights of others.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Boostrix extension.
  • Use Boostrix to scrape, harvest, or collect data from AI platforms in violation of their terms of service.
  • Distribute modified versions of Boostrix or create derivative works.
  • Use Boostrix for any unlawful purpose or to facilitate illegal activities.
  • Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the functionality of Boostrix or its infrastructure.

6. Service Availability

Boostrix is provided "as-is" and "as-available". We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Specifically:

  • AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) may change their website structure at any time, which may temporarily affect Boostrix functionality until we release an update.
  • Cloud Sync availability depends on the uptime of our third-party infrastructure provider (Supabase).
  • We may release updates, patches, or changes to Boostrix at any time to improve functionality or address compatibility issues.

7. Subscription & Payment

Boostrix offers the following paid plans:

  • Pro Monthly: $7 per month, billed monthly.
  • Pro Yearly: $49 per year, billed annually.

All paid plans include a 7-day free trial. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Please refer to our Refund Policy for information about refunds.

8. Intellectual Property

The Boostrix extension, including its code, design, branding, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Boostrix and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. The Boostrix name, logo (🚀), and branding elements are trademarks of Boostrix.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boostrix shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. This includes but is not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or interruption of business.

Our total liability for any claims related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for Boostrix in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Boostrix is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that Boostrix will meet your requirements, operate without interruption, or be error-free.

11. Third-Party Platforms

Boostrix interacts with third-party AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini). We are not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of these third-party services. Your use of these platforms is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Boostrix at any time if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. For Pro users, we will provide reasonable notice and the ability to export your data before account deletion.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes through the extension's Settings Hub or via email (for Pro users). Continued use of Boostrix after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through appropriate legal channels.
